Now... let's talk BIC, shall we? While BIC pens are usually purchased for office and school, we have a little artist in the house, so I thought I'd share another great use for BIC brand pens...

My awesome soon-to-be 10 year old daughter created the masterpiece featured above using a handful of the new and vibrant BIC pens! Thank you "J" for contributing your beautiful artwork to this review!

We are thoroughly enjoying all the BIC pens we received. The overall quality is what you'd expect from BIC... good quality with smooth reliable performance. Great for school and/or business, with a mix of fun and professional. Some of these colors are a bit on the girly side, which works for us! 

BIC Velocity Bold Fashion Ball Pen

Specifics: 8 bold, vibrant ink colors, 1.6 mm point, retractable, soft comfort grip, and clip

Our thoughts: very smooth writing instrument, awesome colors, stylish and fun, girly! We also like that this pen is retractable.

BIC Cristal Bold Fashion Ball Pen

Specifics: vibrant colors, clear barrel so you can see ink level, 1.6 mm point, hexagonal barrel,

Our thoughts: simple design, smooth writing, standard pen in fun colors

BU3 Grip Fashion Ball Pen

Specifics: 7 colors, fashionable, side click retraction, sleek barrel, t grip provides comfort

Our thoughts: smooth writing, great color selection, comfortable in hand, we liked the retractable feature over having a cap.

BIC Mechanical Pencils:

We really liked the pencils; almost everyone at our house prefers mechanical pencils over wooden. The only negative thing I can think to say about these pencils is that they're all girl! lol My daughter and I love the colors... my son and husband not so much. lol

Specifics: Fashion wrapped barrel, contrasting clip, durable eraser, textured rubber grip, side lead advance, certified for standardized tests

Our thoughts: very stylish and well... pretty! Love the design on the barrel, clean eraser, great quality, exceptionally girly and fun to use!

BIC Erasers:

Specifics: available in white, orange, green, pink and purple, contoured comfort grip, latex and PVC free, students can mix and match the grips

Our thoughts: nice erasers, fun colors, comfort grips add color to the erasers making them fun to use and keep hands clean, but my daughter took them off when using them. thought they got in the way.
