Are Watches Losing Out to Cell Phones? Revisit the Awesomeness of Watches!
I've not worn a watch for years. For me, it's not so much a matter of whether or not a cell phone satisfies the need to know the time, as it is having had bad experiences with past couple watches I've owned. Those were $20 watches though and I suppose I shouldn't expect a long life or reliable performance from a $20 watch?
Since my last fashionable watch some 4 years ago, I've been leery of purchasing another; I'm thinking I need to go for quality over price, but I'm not in the position to spend big bucks on a quality product.
Do you own a watch? Do you wear a watch? I don't see as many people wearing them as when I was a kid. Do you find yourself using your cell, but wishing you could just look at your wrist to see the time? When you're out and about or working away from the clock, you don't always have a free hand to grab that cell phone.
I remember when I was in the 8th grade, sitting in the cafeteria the first day back to school after Christmas break, looking down the table and noticing nearly every student wearing a new watch! lol Something about the 80's and being 13 I guess. The watch was a "safe" gift... something any 13 year old could use and appreciate.
There's something incredible about a well-made watch, and I for one don't want to see the love for watches fall by the wayside. My favorite watches are those revealing their inner mechanics. This ladies Invicta watch fascinates and delights me! Love to see the gears doing there thing, and given my favorite color is pink, I'm loving the color too.
This watch retails for nearly $1000 dollars, but I see it's selling at Bluedial.com for only $220.80. Other Invicta watches can be found at Bluedial.com; I like this one as it's waterproof, has a rubber strap and stainless steal casing. So awesome and I hope Santa is reading this post. It's fun to dream!
