Keeping Things Simple, Making It Fun?

Lol, Ok I just realized yesterday that the mood of my posts was anything but fun and simple. I mean I have a battle raging in my home and there's absolutely nothing fun or simple about that. So, I thought I should at least come back and acknowledge this with my readers. Yes, my tag line doesn't really fit with the mood I've got going here, but being the optimist that I am, I have a vision for a better tomorrow!

Even a better today would be nice. We're getting ready to start our homeschooling day, just after I finish with this post. Yesterday was really bad. I mean about as bad as it could have been. I don't quite get what's going on with my first grader, but he started out at one extreme of screaming and crying and finished on the other, actually telling me in the last moments of our math assignment that he kinda likes school? Hmmm, I just don't know what to make of that. I can't wrap my brain around that one.

I do have photos of this event and I'm trying to decide whether it's fair to post them. lol I have the two extremes that took place within 90 minutes or so of one another. It's almost scary! It's at the very least weird. Don't you think?
