Promo Codes and Science Technology News

In the course of your homeschooling studies, you'll no doubt have a need for science news 2012! Finding new and exciting resources for acquiring scientific facts is just a mouse click away. Don't you love FREE learning resources? We all love books, but of course a good read via the Internet is totally acceptable too!

My kids and I just recently started a new Bible study based on the study of the universe and all it's wonder. We discuss the magnificence of God's creation and how things had to be "just right" for life to have flourished on planet Earth, and how those "just right" conditions miraculously continue despite the chaos of the galaxy in which we live! It's pretty spectacular if you stop to think about it.
There are so many great resources available for finding those fascinating tidbits of information and for studying scientific theories.  SciTechDaily.com is just one of many. My daughter writes an essay every day after our lesson, and uses the Internet to help her get her facts straight. There are a lot of measurements, names of gases and moons, and fascinating details to record after all! She even uses great scientific websites to collect photos to use in her essays.

I may share one of her essays here next week... one in particular is simply adorable! She's 9 and she's mine, so of course I find most of what she does precious, but still... I think it's worth publication to this blog!

In addition to being a creative researcher, she is also quite the artist. I may get one of her best pieces of artwork transferred to a t-shirt through Vista Print. I'd love to sport it while I'm out and about! Which reminds me... I need to look for Vistaprint coupons!
        Wendy Lindsey
Wendy is the blessed mom to a 10 year old son with Asperger's Syndrome, a beautiful 9 year old daughter, & 6 children (miscarried) in heaven. She's temporarily given up homeschooling to give her son the peer modeling he was missing at home, essential for proper development in a child with autism. Currently she works full-time with special needs children as a para-educator.
