Enjoy Life Announces Plentils! Gluten Free and So Much More

My 11 year-old son, like millions of other snack-loving Americans is on a gluten-free diet. He's also dairy free. Finding foods we can take on the go, or when staying the night at a friend's house can be challenging. We're always looking for new snack options and my boy loves to crunch, so when Enjoy Life asked if I'd like to review a new product serving as a chip alternative we were game!

What we sampled:
1 bag each of Garlic & Parmesan, Margherita Pizza, Light Sea Salt, and Dill & Sour Cream varieties of Enjoy Life brand Plentils.

My Son's Verdict?
My son's favorite was the Margherita pizza. which didn't make it through the day. The other three varieties were quickly consumed as well. In fact, he said he loved them all. My 9 year old liked the Margherita Pizza too, but asked me never to buy the Dill and Sour Cream. lol She's not a fan of dill, but these chips really aren't for her anyway!

What is a Plentil Anyway?
Plentils are crunchy like pretzels or potato chips, but are made from lentils, making them high in protein, lower in fat (than greasy potato chips), and they're prepared with nothing artificial! You can find your own Plentils at natural food stores and certain conventional grocers throughout the US and Canada.

We love Enjoy Life as they offer products free of gluten and other known allergens. In fact, all their products are free of: wheat, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, soy, fish, and shellfish. Most of their products are also free of casein, sesame, sulfites, and potatoes.

Here's a short video of my son eating his first bag of Garlic and Parmesan Plentils. He has Asperger's Syndrome so if he seems quirky, he is! lol  Not that all people with Asperger's are quirky, but my son will be the first to tell you he is. lol He's a silly boy, so be prepared!
