Over the past several weeks I've begun a bit of an experiment here on The Homeschooling Blog to see just how much momentum I could fuel to this site.
Consequently, since around mid-January we've seen our Alexa rating drop from somewhere around 12 million to around 650,000 (if my memory is correct). My short-term goal is to get it below 100,000.
We've also witnessed an increase in new FOLLOWERS!!
I opened a Facebook Page for The Homeschooling Blog in January '12 and we already have over 3,400 fans!
My Twitter following has also surpassed the 3K mark!
The reader subscriptions to this blog have increased over 400.
Unique page views have nearly doubled since last fall.
How's that for exciting?

Wendy Lindsey
Wendy is the blessed mom to a 10 year old son with Asperger's
Syndrome, a beautiful 9 year old daughter, & 6 children (miscarried) in
heaven. She's temporarily given up homeschooling to give her son the peer
modeling he was missing at home, essential for proper development in a child
