If you followed my post featuring a few Thanksgiving Day plans I had prepared for my kids, you'll remember the Enchanted Learning activity for making a Thanksgiving Tree.
We made what we like to call a Thanksgiving Forest. Both my kids made a tree and wrote something they were thankful for on each hand-made leaf... lol. They each decided on their own to draw a picture on each hand as well. I thought they turned out wonderful!
As you can see, we made a background for our trees to not only give the trees some support, but to also bring our forest to life. The kids each colored half the posterboard and even added a few bugs underground. You can tell what we've been learning about just very recently. ; )
