Has it Really Been a Month?

Wow! Guess so. I've not posted anything new here in way too long. We're still chugging along with homeschool, but we did take a 2 week vacation and didn't really get a lot done during that time. One of the many perks to homeschooling by the way, is being able to take a 2 week vacation to Disney World in October!

My husband and I assumed we'd do some amount of homeschooling while at Epcot, but really we spent most of the time riding rides, watching shows, and standing in line to ride rides and watch shows. Not that there isn't some amount of education the kids got from the various attractions at the parks. I think Animal Kingdom was one example of a counted homeschool day. I'd say overall with 2 weeks of parking, we'll count 3 days as school field trip days.

What all did we do for two weeks? Well, we spend about 10 at Disney Parks, 3 at Universal, and the last at Downtown Disney. We covered Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, and Typhoon Lagoon on the Disney side. I for one am all Disney'd out for awhile. lol It was fun, but honestly 2 weeks is a bit too long for me. I don't really like fighting crowds for hours on end day after day. Listen to me complain! Am I spoiled or what?
